How to Press DTF Transfers for a Finish That Lasts

Great DTF results come down to four things: temperature, pressure, time and peel. Get these right and your prints will survive dozens of washes.

The settings

Pre-press the garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture.
Press at 150–160°C (This depends on the garment you are applying it to) with medium-firm pressure for 10–15 seconds.
Warm peel.
Re-press for 3–5 seconds with a cover sheet to lock it in.

Common mistakes

Inconsistent household irons, too little pressure, and stretching the print before it cools are the usual culprits. See our full application guide and care instructions.
